Basis for the foundation of SDMD Outlook 2045

7.2.3 Objectives

Overall objective: Overall objective of the proposed Project is to contribute to the sustainable
development of the MDR in a new background such as the Communist Party’s policies and the
Government’s orientation.
Specific objectives:

- Connect, provide and share information on the current status, potential, challenges and
propose solutions to develop key fields of the MDR amongst stakeholders through regular Forum to
act as a basis, to contribute to the formulation of guidelines, policies and strategies for sustainable
development of the MDR with a vision to 2045.
- Collaborate/cooperate in making and implementing application programs and development
projects (vice versa) amongst stakeholders, contributing to the development of the socio – economics –
environment of the region.
- Develop information and data exploitation center, to analyze and synthesize data, information;
share information and consult to contribute to the sustainable development of the MDR.

7.2.4 Content

- Regularly organize SDMD forum (once every two years): The forum convokes many participants,
including central and local governments, scientists, companies, domestic and international investors;
connect, share information and propose policies and solutions to support sustainable development
in the MDR; The forum also create opportunities for communication, connection and cooperation of
