1) Special Guests Visit to
CTU Stall

Our CTU-JICA stall was visited by
Prof. Huynh Thanh Dat - Minister of
Science & Technology and Mr. Shimizu
Akira - Chief Representative of JICA
Viet Nam.
This exhibition is a fruitful event
that helps to connect CTU with other
units, create a linkage for exchanging
and sharing research results, new
products, institute – company linkage,
international agencies, etc.

2) Content of participation CTU delegation taking memorable photo
activities in the exhibition with Minister of Science & Technology and
Chief Representative of JICA Viet Nam Office
CTU participated in the Viet Nam
International Innovation Expo 2021 at

Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, Hanoi on January 9 and 10 , 2021 under the MOET.

This is the 1 International Innovation Expo hosted by Ministry of Planning & Investment, co-hosted
by Ministry of: Science & Technology, Industry & Trade, Education & Training. With participation from
many research departments, universities alongside with large-scale companies of Viet Nam and foreign
companies such as Samsung, Dell, Hitachi, etc.

CTU brought into the exhibition its application technology in aquaculture value chain (Pangasius
catfish & shrimp); these science and technology products are suitable for the impact of climate change
in the current stage of the MD. These are also products of ODA Project supported by Japan Government-
JICA.
This participation activity is well prepared by CTU staff with full support from ODA Office, together
making the exhibition a successful story.
3) Detail of activities

From January 1 to 7 , 2021: Preparing posters, leaflets of science and technology products then
printed out and give to other participants at the exhibition.

January 8 , 2021: CTU staff prepared their stall at the exhibition. At 5PM the preparation was
finished and ready for the next day.

January 9 , 2021: Exhibition begin at 9AM with participation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc,
Vice Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and Minister of host and co-host Ministries.
