All research leaders presented the latest information of their research activities and participants
and evaluators, including Japanese Professors from nine universities of JSUC, gave critical comments or
constructive suggestions to improve the activities.

3.3.3 Expected Outputs and Outcomes

Despite that many Joint Research activities are still ongoing, all of them have already published
research papers in international or national journals. Some have already progressed to technology
transfer.

Outputs of these research activities have been shared with people inside and outside of CTU through
seminars and conferences, which are presently held with the aid of online systems.
The number of publications in international and national journals is expected to rapidly increase
because all but one (A-12) research programs terminate by the end of 2021.
The Project encourages further research activities with companies and universities towards
research-development-demonstration-dissemination (RDDD), and commercialization.
These research outputs and outcomes should be effectively utilized for technology transfer. The
planned next Project emphasizes practical applications of the research outputs and outcomes in
the actual food production grounds and in nature of the MD in line with the Resolution No. 120 and
Decisions No. 417 and No. 324 issued by the Vietnamese Government.
