*The numbers of papers by ODA Joint Research stated above are lower than the
respective target values stated in the research proposal because the numbers are
counted as of July 2021. They will increase during the remaining periods of 6 to

12 months for writing papers. In particular, the low number by the 2 batch must
be viewed with the fact that the research period terminates in September 2021
(Dec. 2021 for A-12) and that further one more year is allowed for writing and
submitting the research papers. Therefore, Indicator 1 is expected to be achieved
by September 2022 (Dec. 2022 for A-12).
