(Target number indicated in the research proposal is 22)
[Note]
1) The number of new technologies: 20 (Achievement: 35.7%).
2) The number of new technologies applied: 12 (Achievement: 35.3%).
*The numbers of applied patents are the same situation for the research papers as
described above. In addition to the numbers of applied patents, the number of new
technologies and new technologies applied (both stated in the research proposals)
are shown above for reference. They are more appropriate rather than the number
of patent applications because the Joint Research of the Project is field-oriented
and CTU aims for technology transfer to the regions. This indicator is expected to
increase during the remaining period since CTU has been encouraging researchers
to apply for patents and technology transfer based on the outputs of the Joint
Research.
Although the number of patent applications is 4 so far from joint research
programs as of July 2021, there are many possible technology transfer outputs
which are some actual examples of new technologies (see Chapter 3,.4.3).
For example, new technologies in aquaculture were developed and disseminated
to stakeholders. Particularly, the research program entitled “Innovation of green
technology for aquaculture, F2” produced nine new technologies of which six
technologies have been transferred to stakeholders for ‘real-time’ application. Five
of them have been on the way to be accredited the intellectual property (Chapter
4.4.2).
