Chapter 3 Key Factors affecting Implementation and Outcomes

            3.10 Public Relation

            3.10.1 Brief Outline

Seminars, workshops and conferences held in CTU have provided opportunities for staff members
and students of CTU and other universities, and other people to meet. The Project has always offered
a Project brochure (leaflet) and related information to every participant to appeal to the outline of
Project activities. Brochures and other PR materials are prepared in English, Vietnamese and Japanese.
At the occasions of large events, CTU has promptly uploaded news articles in the CTU Web-site.

One good example is the timely announcement within 24 hours after the event. The Project always
appreciates timely dispatch of information using the CTU Website.

3.10.2 Key Factor-1 to appeal On-going Activities: Portable Visible Poster

Posters on research activities have been yearly compiled during the last three years, and displayed
                    th
on the 5 floor of the administration building of CTU
                                                                                           3 rd Progress

all (40) Joint Research Programs. Booklets on these Programs (3 Progress)
and Each Exhibition at Display Corners
posters have also been prepared as handouts on the
occasions of seminars, workshops and conferences.

CTU staff, students and visitors often stop and
examine the posters with curiosity and enthusiasm.
Thus, the posters (and booklets) are turned out to be
excellent materials for appealing research outputs of
the Project activities. Names of researcher involved
in Joint Research Programs are given together with
outlines of activities. On the other hand, certain levels
of care must be taken because the activities may be An Example An Example An Example
