This chapter shows several fresh and frank voices from CTU staff and students who are involved
in the Project. These voices are unedited remarks and include valuable hints leading to key factors
affecting the implementation and outcomes of the Project.

I was born in the Ca Mau province, which belongs to the VMD. I love my region, but climate change
and sea-level rise have impacted water resources in recent years. I decided to study Water Resources
Engineering, and I got the bachelor’s degree in Water Resources Engineering in 2018. I got a research
job in the Department of Water Resources. In this department, I support the teaching and research
activities of lecturers in the department.
Meanwhile, I discovered that the Master’s Program of Climate change and Delta management
was recruiting. I had scrutinized and noticed that this program would help me receive specialized
knowledge of integrated Delta management and adaptation to Climate change. Moreover, I had the
opportunity to learn and exchange with Japanese Professors that I admired for their professionalism,
carefulness, hard work, and kindness. I had a great time participating in lectures given by Japanese
professors. As a result, my academic knowledge, English proficiency, and Japanese culture were
broadened. One regret was that some studying periods had been affected by COVID -19 pandemic, so
some lecturers had to be online teaching. I wish the epidemic would be repelled in the future, and I will
go on an excursion with my best friends to Japan as soon as possible.
