with an opportunity to enhance my ability in management and the safe use of machinery, equipment,
and tools in the laboratory. I have increased my understanding of the subjects within the scope of my
research. TUAT is one of the excellent institutions of scientific research and technologies transfer. The
University has modern facilities, the professional lectures given by the international standard teaching
methods. The training course has significantly improved my research skills.
Honestly, I was interested in Japan even before I had this beautiful opportunity to participate in this
training. I read documents about Japanese history and am always curious why Japan could become an
advanced country although it has very limited natural resources and has faced many natural disasters.
During my short time in Japan, I got the answer. The critical factor is human resources. I noticed that
the Japanese people are very kind when you get to know them better, even though they initially appear
distant and shy. I was touched by the kindness and sympathies I received from Japanese friends. They
do have respect for the person human, although they are first meeting each other. They are honest,
hardworking, and efficient. They are the best example of being highly responsible in the workplace.
Lastly, I wish to express my sincere admiration and gratitude to the Project Organizing Committee/
PMU, JICA, TUAT, and CTU. I would like to express my sincere thanks to professors who contributed to
the joint research program, especially to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Vang, Prof. Ando Tetsu, Mr. Sawada Koji,
Prof. Nakai Madoka, Dr. Inoue Maki, and Ms. Makiyama Nao, Ms. Ohta Rie, Ms. Aoyama Haruka, Mr. Arai
Hiroshi, and Mr. Asadullah Azam. Your confidence in me and your kind words of encouragement have
been a great source of strength for me. My deepest thanks to Ms. Shimomura Makiko and Ms. Harako
Mayumi for supporting me when I was in Japan.
