CTU frequently receives visitors from stakeholders in the MD for scientific consultation. At a Seminar
“After one year of implementing Resolution No. 120/NQ-CP on sustainable development of the Mekong
Delta under climate change” on December, 2018, Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan, Rector of CTU gave a speech
“Can Tho University promised to be a companion with all provinces in the Mekong Delta and be ready
to become center in the development of the Mekong Delta region under climate change” in the seminar.

Another example shows a sincere discussion between CTU and the local government (An Giang
province) on scientific and technical issues.
