Chapter 2 Results of Technical Cooperation Project

6) Holding seminars/  Twenty-five (25) seminars/workshops/conferences were held for this purpose. To-

7) Encouraging  During the implementation of the Project, Academic advisor/ Japanese short-term

 Prof. KOYAMA Jiro (Kagoshima University) conducted a seminar titled “Scientific

(Plan: writing and publication” on May 31 , 2019. Seventy-four (74) researchers and lec-
turers participated in the seminar.

 Prof. ISHIMATSU Atsushi (Academic advisor) conducted a two-month course of spe-
cial lectures entitled “A basic course on how to write scientific papers in English” for
21 researchers and lecturers of CoA, CAF and CENRes from Oct. to Dec. 2020., and
from Oct. to Nov. 2021.
 The Project purchased 25 English textbooks for upgrading researchers and lectur-
ers’ capacity of writing scientific papers in English in Jan. 2021.

8) Upgrading the  CTU held a seminar on intellectual property for researchers in relevant colleges of

capacity of related CTU from May14 to 17 , 2019. Nine (9) researchers from 3 fields participated in

tellectual property has been postponed several times since 2020 due to the difficul-
