Chapter 2 Results of Technical Cooperation Project

6) The roles of - When the PI submits an Animal Experiment Plan for appraisal, the Chairperson
the sessional or Deputy Chairperson of the CTU-AEC will delegate the appraisal and evaluation
Committees to the sessional Committee.

- The Head of the sessional Committee appoints 02 reviewers to consider the
matters listed in Article 5 when examining an Animal Experiment proposal.
- All members of the sessional Committee appraise the Animal Experimental Plan
according to one of the following three levels: (1) Approval without additional
corrections, (2) Approval with the recommendation of additional modifications,
and (3) Rejection of the Animal Experiment Plan.
- The Head and Secretary of the sessional Committee conclude the appraisal
results based on predominant member opinions; then sign to confirm the
conclusion and announce to the Chairperson of the CTU-AEC for decision.
7) - The Chairperson of the CTU-AEC and the Head of the sessional Committee sign
Administration an approval letter stating that the Animal Experiment Plan complies with this
Regulation.

- The administrative work and issuing management codes for Animal Experiments
is in charge by the Department of Scientific Research Affairs of CTU.
