            3.2.1 Brief Outline

Under the JICA Technical Cooperation Project (JICA CTU Project), CTU decided to open three (3)
master’s programs, which are supported by JICA and Japanese supporting universities to strengthen the
education implementation systems. The three fields of master’ programs consist of ①Climate Change
and Sustainable Tropical Agriculture (CoA), ②Climate Change and Integrated Management of Coastal
Aquaculture (CAF) and ③Climate Change and Delta Management (CENRes). Each program provides
60 credits to help students improve and update the scientific knowledge of (i) tropical Agriculture,
Aquaculture and Environment in the context of climate change; (ii) climate change, high efficiency and
sustainable agricultural and aquacultural production and environment protection; and (iii) interaction
between agriculture, fisheries and environment. The programs also help students develop skills to (i)
apply knowledge into practice, (ii) work independently, (iii) think in a creative way, and (iv) detect and
            solve problems.
