Three Outputs of the Project under the University Key Functions
1.5 Project Components
1.5.1 Enhancing research capacity
The research capacity of 3 fields of agriculture, fisheries and environment is enhanced through: (i)
the number of researchers involved in joint researches; (ii) the participants in seminars, workshops
and conferences; (iii) the number of published papers in international journals and conferences; (iv)
the number of applied patents, license, intellectual property rights and technical innovation; and (v)
number of newly built research networks with industry, local government and community.
1.5.2 Enhancing education capacity
Education capacity of 3 field of agriculture, fisheries and the environment is enhanced through: (i)
the number of newly established education programs, (ii) the number of students enrolled in the new
programs, (iii) the ratio of international students studying at CTU, and (iv) the number of education
programs receiving certified QA.
1.5.3 Enhancing technical maintenance and administration system
Strengthening administration system and technical maintenance of the equipment necessary to
enhance research and education capacity through (i) detailed guidelines and manuals for common
usage of equipment, (ii) the number of participants in short-term training, and (iii) implementing
short-term training for OM and administrative staff.
