The equipment procurement packages have been conducted smoothly to complement the campus
facilities development. Since the package 2-1 was concluded in 2018, the existing laboratories have
been meaningfully enhanced for current usage capacity. On the other hand, Equipment Procurement
Package 2-2 and 2-3 shall fully accompany the construction of RLC and ATL, respectively, in order to
provide for leading levels of education and research. In particular, the contract award for Package 2-3
is expected at the end of June 2021, while Package 2-2 is currently undergoing financial evaluation
and the successful bidder shall participate in contract negotiation in July 2021, with proper JICA
concurrence in necessary steps.
